Connect with us on a pre-booked discovery call and talk us through exactly what you need. This takes approximately 45 minutes and during the session, we complete a form that documents all of your answers and needs. At the end, we book a follow-up call so that you can review our proposal and decide if you want to go ahead.
We connect the dots and send you over a copy of the completed form after we have added to it our basic strategy/proposal and the action plan of exactly how we would achieve your desired outcome.
We reconnect on your follow up call where we discuss any queries or concerns you may have and make sure that all of your questions are answered. From here, we normally complete your order and 99% of our clients choose to work with us at this point and give us the go ahead.
After you’ve given us the green light, we begin our signature onboarding process that is designed to get you and your project up and running as fast as possible, while cutting down the paperwork. Everything you need to know to get started it sent to you on a single email so that you can access our signature ‘fast check-in’ system. It’s as simple at that!
It really is as simple as those 5 steps to start working with us, but we appreciate that you might have a few questions, so below are the answers to our top and most frequently asked questions.
Where are you based & do you only work with clients who are geographically local?
Lyndsey Johnson Digital Agency is based in Durham, UK but we work with clients all over the globe. Timezones are not a problem for us and neither is your location.
As a client how do I reach you urgently?
From the moment of your first contact with us, in step 1of our process, you are given our skype ID and email address. These are checked every half an hour as well as run on push notifications so we are always in contact and accessible to our clients.
Are there any hidden costs?
No, we make sure you are aware of everything from the start. Following a discovery call with us, you will be quoted a price for the services and intensity you need and this price is valid for 14 days. This is the price that you pay EXCLUDING ad spend.
When you engage our services and it features any advert management, you will be sent an agreement form which must be signed prior to any work taking place which states your monthly / weekly budget amount. This makes sure that everything is clear from the get go and puts your firmly in control of the costs at all times.
You will be expected to pay 4 weeks ad spend up front prior to any ad campaign starting because we will run them in our business manager accounts and are invoiced by for example Facebook on your behalf.
Do you require a deposit?
We are always very clear on this topic and why we follow the policies that we do.All of our clients must pay a deposit amount before work commences. Work does not commence if this deposit is not cleared into our accounts.

Deposit amounts vary depending on the service packages you are using as each one is made bespoke but in simple terms it equates to 2 months service fees up front, making a total initial payment of 2 months service fees at the start.
For website design or short term campaigns, deposits are a % of the overall contract price and are shown as the stage 1 payment on your invoice.
If you are using paid advertising such as SEM, Pay per click campaigns or social media marketing (SMM) such as Facebook, you will be expected to pay 4 weeks ad spend up front prior to any ad campaign starting because we will run them in our business manager accounts and are invoiced by for example Facebook on your behalf.
Again, this is to avoid a few rotten apples ruining it for the rest of our client base and stops them running up large bills which they may not have the funds available to pay.
Why are there no prices on your website?
Each of our done for you, no hassle services are tailored for each client, so pricing tends to vary. We find this works better for our clients as it helps to make the cost more applicable to them, rather than a blanket pricing approach.

Do I have to enter into a contract?
All of our clients must have a contract with us before we start working on their project. Our contracts last for 12 months or 6 months and all clients pay 2 months service fees up front in additional to their first month’s payment, making a total initial payment of 3 months service fees.
For done for you services, our contracts last for 12 months or 6 months and all clients pay 2 months service fees up front 2, making a total initial payment of 2 months service fees.
If we have agreed to run a campaign or are doing web design services then your contract will have its own unique start and end date and you will have staged payments agreed with you that are stated in your contract.
For those paying using Done For You Services, what this means is that the last 2 months of your contract are already paid for from the start. Should you choose to terminate your services BEFORE the contract ends, then these months are non-refundable.
For those with a campaign or web design services, then please note you will be expected to pay your stage 1 payment and have it cleared before we start work.
Why do we operate this way? Well, it reduces the risk of non-payment by clients and this is great for you because that means we don’t have to pass those costs on elsewhere in the business, in other words, put up our prices because of a few rotten apples.
How fast can you get started?
We can turn around projects from discovery call through to execution in under 5 days when required, but this is subject to availability and may incur extra costs. Our average turn-around time is 10- 20 days where content creation is required.
Can you do the work for free if I am introducing you to ongoing work or for joint ventures?
In short and as politely as we can say it, NO!
This would be unfair on our existing clients and creates unnecessary demands on resources based on potentially empty promises.
If you do not value our services enough to pay for them then we would not be a good fit to do business with, it is our company’s belief that you have to have some skin in the game if you want to succeed and asking for freebies means you are not taking any risks on yourself so why should we.
BUT if you are asking because you do not have the budget to pay for our services then we strongly recommend that you sign up for our $ELL:Online Bootcamp which includes modules on how to create, do and operate any of the services we offer on a Done For You basis and starts at a very low monthly membership price.
